Hello, I’m Zakierah, founder of Pink Stone Doula Services. I am a nurse, and a proud mother of two beautiful boys. My journey into birth work began with my own—two very different experiences that shaped the way I view pregnancy and childbirth. My first was a vaginal birth, filled with the raw strength and vulnerability that birth brings. My second was a cesarean, a reminder that no two journeys are the same, and that each path deserves the same respect, compassion, and care.

Those moments — the challenges, the joy, and the deep transformation — sparked a passion in me to serve families in a deeper way. They continue to inspire my ongoing nursing education and my aspirations for advanced training in midwifery and pediatric care.

As a doula, I bring both my nursing knowledge and my personal experience into the room. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where you feel informed, empowered, and truly heard. Whether you’re preparing for birth, moving through labor, or finding your rhythm in those early postpartum days, my role is to walk alongside you — offering guidance, comfort, and the reassurance that you are not alone.
